 In this Community Conversation, we tackle the often uncomfortable topic of discussing alcohol consumption with medical providers—and the hesitation many providers feel when addressing it. How can these conversations be more open, empathetic, and effective? We invite your insights and experiences to help shape a position paper that will be shared with the AASLD and the broader medical community, driving change in how alcohol-related discussions are approached in healthcare.

Because of Sober Livers' union with FLF last fall, this is the first year people with steatotic (fatty) liver disease from alcohol have been included in this survey!

This session will spotlight how patient experiences and perspectives are driving the development of more effective and patient-friendly clinical trials. Because of Sober Livers' union with FLF last fall, Jenn Jones, Founder, Sober Livers, has been invited to join this Liver Forum Committee, so the voice for people with liver diseases from alcohol will be included in future conversations!
